Oregon Measure 11 Defense Attorney
Measure 11 is an Oregon ballot initiative that was voted into law in 1994 and went into effect in 1995. Measure 11 is a serious crime category in the state that sets minimum sentencing requirements for all violent crimes and serious sex offenses. If you are convicted under ORS 137.700 you are subject to mandated minimums which include 7.5 years for Assault in the First Degree, 10 years for Attempted Aggravated Murder, and 25 years for Murder.
